Hay Festival Success!
On the last day of term, May 24th, was a cloudy but exciting day for a selection of our Year 7 and 8 readers, attending the Hay Festival!
We had an amazing day, on Friday 24th May, at the Hay Festival. We were lucky enough to ask questions during the BBC Radio 4 Broadcast, listen to an engaging story from author Phil Earl and enjoy the dramatic, fantastic, storytelling of Daniel Morden. Our pupils loved the chance to meet some of their favourite authors, attend book signings, and readings throughout the day; they certainly did not let the cloudy weather dampen their enthusiasm. In the words of one of our pupils "I didn't know a trip about books could be this fun Miss!"
Our pupils were so excited to get started, they could barely stay still long enough for a group picture!
