At Eastern High we believe fundraising not only helps our chosen charities and their beneficiaries, but also provides our pupils with an understanding of others and their situations.  It helps develop relationships, empathy with others and contributes to overall well-being.

 Justgiving - Fundraising at Eastern High

We fundraise in a variety of ways during the year to support local charities.  This year our chosen charity is the Wales Air Ambulance because it is a charity that we are able to connect with and who has provided life saving services to a staff member and have also assisted a pupil this year.

Our past fundraising events have included:

The Big Shave: Mrs Thomas, a dedicated staff member has grown her hair,  then dyed it the four colours of the Air Ambulance blades (which also happen to be the same colour as our houses).  She then raised money through bids to cut off the coloured plaits and have her head shaved.
